In April 2000 I was involved in an arrest where CS gas was used. I suffered as much of the spray as the arrestee as well as other injuries. I have since suffered from sinus disease (all blocked), throat esophogus and stomach pollops and bacell cell carcenomas on my nose, jaw and back. My assault caused classic whiplash injuries and 2 prolapsed discs in my neck and back. The Home Office appointed Force Medical Officer refuses to link my injuries / illnesses with the assault and I have no choice but to go to work every day despite my injuries and illnesses and the associated pain and discomfort.
